Deltec Racing Team: 2016 Shadowracing League

This year Deltec Racing Team will also compete in the 2016 ShadowracingRSA League. Drivers Marius, Ken & Riaan will compete. See the designs Riaan did for the series.

Deltec Team-who are we?

Welcome to the official Deltec Team blog.

Deltec Racing Team has its roots in 2004 with the late Antonio Racing Team. In 2005 Deltec Racing Team joined the Formula Sim Racing (FSR) League. As a 1st time rookie, Marius finished 2nd in the Pro75 FSR (Offline) World Series. We continued in 2006 in FSR, having 2 teams in the field.
Also in 2006, we were approached by Armaroli Simulators Brazil to be the seat holder for Team South Africa in the Armaroli ASRWC WC Series. Together with Zaahir Essa and Craig Hattingh, Team South Africa finished 2nd in the ASRWC Series. 2007 saw the best result for the Deltec Racing and
Deltec Springbok Racing Team in FSR with a 4th and 8th place season finish. Riaan van der Westhuizen, Ken Hunter & Hendrich van Rensburg were amongst the regular drivers. 2008 was the final year Deltec Racing participated in the FSR Series. 2014 Deltec Racing joined the GPVWC League in the World Sports Series, using the Porsche Flat6 GT cars. We showed we have the focus and mindset to accomplish any task, especially the 24hr Le Mans Event! We finished the magical 300 laps on Le Mans! In 2015 Deltec Racing Team entered into the 2015 Formula Challenge series, where Deltec Racing Team finished 11th in the 2015 GPVWC Formula Challenge Championships with a total of 131 points. 2016 Deltec Racing continues in the GPVWC league and also expanding to Endurance Racing with the VEC and ISEC Endurance Leagues. Deltec still competes in local race event.
