Successful 'Race' at Hungarian Grand Prix



No more than 8 drivers commited themselves to an full 35-lap, unofficial 'race' at the Hungary Circuit this afternoon, a mere week before the actual race will commence.

The 'gloves' literally came off, as everybody scrambled to qualify for the best grid position.

Deltec Racing Team new-comer Mitchell, posted a best time of 1.20.528

Soon him and Hendrich traded places, when disaster struck and Hendrich had to retire with a tyre puncture.

The end result saw Mitchell in p1, Scott Beck in p2 and Camilo Nino taking 3rd.

The organizers deemed the event a huge success, and hope to stage such an event again in the near future.
